Migration from Lightroom to the new Capture One 23 has been vastly improved by training AI to accurately convert advanced presets–namely Colors, Black & White, Clarity and Dehaze–that Capture One migration doesn’t manage perfectly without the help of Avalanche’s AI.Īvalanche has been further improved to provide better auditing capabilities on transferred catalogs, enabling photographers to use dedicated keywords and smart collections to quickly find images needing special attention. Avalanche also converts Lightroom presets into Capture One styles for reusability. And Avalanche continues to support great migration between editing apps for White Balance for JPEG and RAW, Highlights, Shadows, Blacks, Whites, Metadata and keywords, Geometrical effects, and other complex adjustments like Vignetting, Levels, Sharpening… Specifically, this means that Avalanche can now convert images using Lightroom Presets to Capture One with much higher accuracy.Īvalanche is now compatible with the latest version of Capture One Pro, launched on November 7. When migrating, Avalanche now preserves new complex and advanced presets like HSL mixing, Color correction, Clarity conversion, and Dehaze conversion. Its AI has been trained to spot complex settings and to translate them into the functions available in their favorite editing apps, while managing up to 100,000 photos in minutes. This means that photographers can’t freely change their work tools.Ĭompatible with Adobe Lightroom, Capture One and Luminar, Avalanche has been designed to preserve photographers’ edits with extreme precision. While all of them do propose some transfer solutions, their migrations are incomplete (some fine adjustments are not reproduced) and do not manage large volumes well. Editing apps have incompatible proprietary formats.
